Breaking News: Mp Ken Chonga & Speaker Teddy Mwambire Arrested
A few minutes ago,the anti riot police in Mtwapa, Kilifi county have arrested the Kilifi South member of parliament Mr Ken Chonga and the Kilifi county speaker Mr Teddy Mwambire along the Mombasa Malindi highway accusing them of not following the directives issued by the area police command. They have been taken to Mtwapa base police station.
Mp Ken Chonga and Teddy Mwambire were in the company of other local Azimio dignitaries among them Mr Stewart Madzayo the Kilifi county senator and the Mtepeni ward MCA Mr Brown Safari.
Commotion was witnessed as the police blocked their way as they accused them assembling without prior notice yet the Azimio brigade insisted that adequate notice had been issued since last week.
