“My father Koffi Olomide is known for winning the Kora prizes… Today I am the one nominated”she said

Nominated for the Kora Awards, Didistone Olomide sees history repeating itself since her father Koffi Olomide not only had to be nominated, but also to win this prestigious trophy

We all remember Koffi Olomide who had to win the Kora, especially the 4 Koras won during one evening; which earned him the nickname Quadrakoraman.

We can say that the succession is being assured since it is Didistone, the daughter of Grand Mopao, who finds herself nominated for the Kora. But it is not in music that she is in the running for the trophy but rather as an influencer. She will try to win the prize for Best Influencer on the African Continent.

“History repeats itself, it’s funny.

My father is known for winning the prizes at Kora…Today it’s me who is nominated,” she comments on her nomination on her Instagram story.
