KILIFI BRIDGE WHERE LIVES ENDS
In the dawn of Thursday 10th of August 2023 residents of kilifi have woken up to a sad news following the report of a drawing lady who threw herself from the kilifi bridge.
Beatrice Neema kalume is the name of the lady 22yrs who resides in kasufini, a village in malindi is said to have boarded a matatu from malindi to kilifi where she ended her own life.
From our sources the deceased was a student at shanzu teachers college and no one knows the reason as to why she cruelty ended her own life.
Maritime security officers in Kilifi county have been forced to halt operations to recover the body after divers explained that the area the where jumped into is too deep.
It is said that the woman travelled from Malindi and boarded a motorcycle upon her arrival in Kilifi town to cross the Kilifi bridge then she asked the boda boda driver to drop her in the middle of the bridge and the jumped off the bridge and into the ocean at 5 a.m. on Thursday.
She tried to call for help after jumping into the water and even swam for a while before drowning.
It should also be known that last week a man jumped from the same bridge only that he didn’t go straight to the sea instead he hit one of the concrete pillars holding the bridge,it took almost an hour before the rescue boat arrived,he died while taken the hospital
