NEYMAR TO CHELSEA, A DEAL THAT WILL NOT MATERIALISE?

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has three big reasons for snubbing Neymar deal

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has been reported rejecting any chances of signing the brazilian play maker this summer. Rumours has it that the Chelsea coach has three big reasons why he doesn’t want a reunion with the Brazil superstar.

Before he was sacked Pochettino managed the Brazilian for 18 months at Paris Saint-Germain. It is well known that Neymar is now eager to move out of psg before the end of the summer transfer window.

Chelsea have been linked with a mega-money deal to sign him in recent months, but it’s like the deal will never materialise because chelsea boss Mauricio Pochetino is said to be against the idea and there are several reason as to why he does not want to take the 31-year-old to Stamford Bridge.

PSG would be open to selling Neymar for between £60million and £70m. But Chelsea won’t be entering any negotiations for him.

One of the reasons Pochettino is against signing Neymar is gigantic high wages. It is claimed he earns £600,000 a week at PSG and it will not be logical for a club out of continental league to have a player on such a huge salary.

The second reason is that there are concerns that Neymar is not the right profile of player for the culture Pochettino is trying to build in Stamford Bridge.

Thirdly, it is also claimed that Neymar would not suit the style of football the former PSG boss is intending to play.

Chelsea sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley are said to be in agreement with Pochettino’s stance. They all believe a move for Neymar would not be the right decision for the club.

Neymar will have to look elsewhere if he were to leave PSG in this window. He is also interested to return to Barcelona though that is far from happening because the La Liga club would not be able to comply with the financially rule

Whispers says that there is an unnamed Brazilian club who have made contact. However, that is deemed unlikely as he still wants to compete in a major league.
