ALIKIBA DREW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIM AND DIAMOND PLATNUMZ
The King Music Label CEO Ali Kiba held an invites-only all-white birthday party
when he turned 37 years old on November 26.
The invites-only party went down on Wednesday, Nov 29 at an undisclosed venue on a big yatch
While answering on some of the questions, Alikiba drew the difference to those who try to compare him to Diamond Platnumz by stressing that despite the fact that he has been in the industry for quite long him and Diamond are not from the same generation as far music is concerned
Alikiba who is not known as a talkertive person had to take them back by accepting that he has prevailed in several musical evolutions but he is yet to accept that he is the legend of bongo flavours.
He mentioned several big names who came before him on different cluster generation
“Mimi nilianza mziki nikiwa mdogo sana ni legend ndio lakini unajua siwezi kuwa legend kabla wasanii kama professor Jay,dully sakes na kina Mr Blue, hao ni malijendari kaka zetu hao” he said
“Kuna kiwango unafika ndio uitwe legend, mimi generation yangu niya tatu. Generation ya kwanza ilikua ni kina professor jay, Mr 2, kwanza unit, generation ya pili ni kina Mr Blue,Juma nature, Ay, Mwana fa na wengine”
According to him the 3rd generation comprised the likes of Matonya,Himself, Belle9 and Barnaba,the likes of Diamond,Hussein machozi and Marlow falls under the fourth generation while on the same, he also recognised Marioo and Jay melody the next upcoming generation
