Ten Hag banned Samuel Luckhurst from Manchester United Evening News, Sky Sports chief reporter Kaveh Solekhol, The Mirror’s David McDonnell and Rob Dawson of ESPN and all denied entry to the media briefing at their Carrington training base ahead of Wednesday’s game against Chelsea.
This came after these media outlets claimed players have lost faith with Ten Hag.
The club backed up this decision and advised journalist to first check with them before making any publications concerning the club and players.
“‘We believe this is an important principle to defend and we hope it can lead to a re-set in the way we work together,” the club’s Communication Director Andrew Ward stated.
