Miriam Mwelu Muinde, a househelp in Kasarani, is being searched by the police as she is suspected to have stolen Ksh. 4 Million cash and jewellery worth Ksh. 500,000 from her employer’s house.
It is alleged that she fled with her stolen loot from her employer’s house on Wednesday, June 22 2022 while her employers were at work.
Charity Waithira Mungai, Miriam’s employer, reports that she came home from work at around 3pm to find her house help missing as well as her jewellery valued at Ksh. 500,000 and Ksh. 4 Million cash that had been placed on top of the wardrobe by her husband, Nelson Ributhi.
Miriam’s last known location is at Rongai before she switched off her line at around 10am on Wednesday.
Police officer who visited Charity’s house did there investigation and found there was no form of forced entry.
This discovery of no sign of break in and Miriam’s running away puts her as the suspect of the theft.
